Community Kitchen and Canteen Expands

Public Media Institute Community Kitchen and Community Canteen

As we enter these cold winter months, we are humbled by the support for the Community Kitchen and Community Canteen.

The Community Kitchen and Community Canteen is a food service program by our nonprofit, Public Media Institute. It provided hot meals to in-need residents, families, and workers in Chicago. The Kitchen and the Canteen currently provide over 3,600 meals a week to local senior housing complexes, food pantries, community centers, hospital workers, and residents of Chicago.
